Emotion Release Technique (ERT): A Path to Holistic Wellness

Have you ever wondered why certain emotions linger and affect your overall well-being? Emotions play a significant role in your health, and unresolved emotional issues can manifest as physical symptoms. This is where Emotion Release Technique (ERT) comes in. ERT is a powerful tool for releasing and healing emotional blockages, promoting inner harmony, and supporting your holistic wellness.

What is Emotion Release Technique (ERT)?

ERT is a therapeutic process that focuses on identifying and releasing stored emotions within the body. Unprocessed emotions can become trapped in your physical and energetic systems, leading to imbalances and affecting your overall well-being. ERT combines various techniques, including TCM acupuncture points, EFT body points, holds, and muscle testing, to facilitate the release of these trapped emotions.

How Does ERT Work?

ERT allows clients of all ages to tap into and release emotions that haven't been properly processed and are stuck in their nervous system. By creating a safe and supportive space in my ERT sessions, I help you explore and release emotions that may be causing distress or hindering personal growth.

The ERT Process:

  1. Muscle Testing: This acts as the interpreter for your Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). The ANS runs your entire body and knows everything going on, down to the cellular level. Muscle testing allows me to communicate with your ANS to investigate if any stuck emotions are causing a stress response.
  2. Chinese Medicine Meridian Points: I use the meridian points on your wrist pulse points to find the exact stuck emotion. Meridian points are energy lines that run through our body. I then find the emotion from a chart I have sitting in front of me.
  3. EFT Tapping Points and Sentences: After identifying the stuck emotion, I ask you to hold on specific emotion points from EFT to clear the emotion from your nervous system. I may get you to say a sentence as well.
  4. Check Clearing: I will then check the emotion has been cleared to ensure you always finish the session feeling lighter and more at ease.

Why Would I Need ERT?

Stuck emotions relate to specific beliefs, activities, or items in our everyday life. These stuck emotions cause a stress response in your body whenever that belief, activity, or item shows up. For example, if you have a stuck emotion relating to exercise, thinking about or looking at exercise equipment can trigger a stress response. ERT clears emotional blocks that cause self-sabotaging behaviors, physical illness, pain, anxiety, and more.

Do the Emotions Stay Cleared?

When we clear an emotion, that layer is gone forever. However, there could be additional layers of other emotions or the same emotion that need to be cleared. Each clearing peels back another layer, making you feel lighter and providing more clarity around your life, decisions, and who you truly want to be.

I Don't Want to Talk About My Emotions, Is ERT Suitable for Me?

Absolutely! ERT works without needing to talk about the emotion that comes up, making it ideal for clients with PTSD, traumatic pasts, or children and babies who are non-verbal.

I'm Not Stressed, Why Would ERT Help Me?

Often, we don't realize how stressed our bodies actually are. All stuck emotions are in our subconscious, so we are not aware of them. Even if you feel fine emotionally, ERT can help with physical symptoms, as stuck emotions causing a stress response can drive physical ailments.

Do I Need to Know Why I Feel a Certain Way for ERT to Help Me?

No, ERT is for anyone experiencing emotional pain, trauma, or frustration that feels hard to resolve. It helps discover past experiences keeping your body stuck in old patterns and gives you the opportunity to let them go.

How Often Do I Need to Come?

I generally recommend 3 to 6 sessions, booking a session every 1 to 2 weeks, as new things come up as the old are let go. After that, maintenance sessions can be scheduled as needed and wanted by you.
