We’ve all inherited layers - conditioning from our childhood, wounds from people we trusted, beliefs we picked up just to stay feeling safe or be loved. But underneath all of that is you.
Not the version of you performing for approval, or trying to hold it all together.
The real you.
The one your nervous system was designed to protect. The one the world needs back.

This workshop is about finding your way home to her.

What Is Identity?

Identity is your core truth. It’s the quiet “I am” beneath all the noise. It’s not just your roles, or your job, or how others describe you. It’s your:

  • sense of self (who I am) values and inner compass

  • spiritual essence — who you are in the eyes of the Divine

You don’t have to create your identity from scratch. You just have to remember it.

The Layers of Identity

Think of your identity like rings of a tree trunk:

  1. Surface Identity – roles, achievements, titles ("I’m a mother, a business owner, a helper.")

  2. Relational Identity – how others see or need you ("I’m dependable, kind, the one who holds it together.")

  3. Internal Identity – who you are when no one’s watching ("I’m creative, intuitive, sensitive, deeply wise.")

  4. Spiritual Identity – who you are in the eyes of the Divine ("Beloved. Chosen. Free. Whole.")

Most people live from the outside in - letting the world define them. These outer layers of identity are shaped by the experiences you've had, the expectations put on you by others, stories (from your family, your culture, your lived experience) and the beliefs about who you are (all of this is the programming your nervous system has received and now acts from).

But your healing journey, and your quiet inner knowing, is calling you into the centre. To examine these outer layers and ask if they are truly who you want to be or if there is something different for you. To remove the programming and begin to live your life from your internal and spiritual identity.

This doesn't necessarily mean leaving behind the experiences you've had, the stories you've lived or even the expectations placed on you. It's purely about making sure all of those things (your surface and relational identity) are in alignment with your internal and spiritual identity.

This journey is inviting you to live from the inside out.

Five Core Truths About Your Identity

Let these truths settle into your body as you hear them. They’re not just ideas, they are reminders.

  1. You Were Created on Purpose You’re not a mistake. Your softness, your strength, your sensitivity; all of it is intentional. Healing isn’t fixing, it’s remembering what’s already there.

  2. You Are Deeply Loved, No Matter What Even in the chaos, the burnout, the shame. Love isn’t something you earn, it’s something you already have. It can be love from yourself, someone in your life and/or from God, but it is there, I promise.

  3. You Are Chosen and You Belong You don’t have to hustle for your worth. Your identity isn’t a popularity contest, it’s a divine inheritance.

  4. You Are Good (Even If You Still Feel Messy) You can carry pain and still be whole. You can feel lost and still be loved. Identity is a becoming, it unfolds as you release what you were never meant to hold.

  5. You Are Empowered and Have Purpose You weren’t made just to survive. You were made to shine, speak truth, and live in alignment with who you really are. You have a gift and your purpose is to share it with the world.

In the next lesson of this workshop we will look at the why of finding your identity so you can understand the importance of doing this work as a foundation of your healing.
